SUNSORB™ is an organic product that is neither toxic nor abrasive. Highly effective in the hydrocarbon remediation industry, it is manufactured from sunflower husks and has a worldwide patent pending as a hydrocarbon absorbent. It is a 100% South African product.

SUNSORB™ is a premium, completely natural, environmentally friendly, biodegradable absorbent. A waste product of the sunflower oil industry that is re-engineered and turned into an oleophilic product – loves to grab and soak up oil – and is also hydrophobic – repels water. We now have a product that floats on water and absorbs oil, and which resulting in no damage to the environment in either its manufacturing or disposal.
SUNSORB™ has been lab tested and proven to be ideal for the absorption of hydrocarbons on both land and water.
SUNSORB™absorbents provide the ultimate cost effective and environmentally responsible solutions for hydrocarbon spill clean ups. 1Kg SUNSORB™ will absorb approximately 10Litres of oil.
